Lead the Sales Strategy for Two Busy Hotels | Drive M&E Growth | Hands-On, High-Impact Role
Are you a commercially driven sales leader with a passion for Meetings & Events? Do you thrive in a fast-paced hotel environment where no two days are the same?
We're looking for an experienced Hotel Rooms Revenue Manager to lead the proactive and reactive meeting and events sales function across two high-performing properties in the Coventry area. With over 100 bedrooms and event capacity for up to 200 guests, this is your chance to shape the future of Meeting & Event sales while staying hands-on with client enquiries and team development.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Leading from the front - you won't just manage the team, you'll actively handle and convert enquiries for meetings, conferences, private events, weddings, and more.
* Driving strategic growth - develop pricing strategies, forecast business trends, and optimise conversion with smart use of sales systems and catering algorithms.
* Building strong internal relationships - work closely with GMs, Director of Sales and operations teams to ensure smooth handovers and first-class delivery.
* Developing your team - coach and mentor a team of meeting ad events sales coordinators to deliver consistent, high-performing results.
* Owning process and performance - streamline work flows and implement clear sales processes that maximise team output and client satisfaction.
We'd Love to Hear From You If You Have:
* Proven success in hotel sales management, with a strong background in Meeting & Events sales
* A proactive, hands-on approach - you're as comfortable on the phone with a corporate client as you are refining sales reports or mentoring your team
* Excellent organisational and communication skills, and a flair for closing business
* A commercial mindset - you're motivated by targets and know how to turn strategy into results
* Experience managing multiple properties or large-scale venues is a bonus
Why Join Us?
This is more than just a desk job. You'll play a key role in shaping the commercial success of two well-established hotels - with the autonomy to make your mark and the support of a collaborative senior team. If you love the thrill of sales, the buzz of meeting and events, and leading a motivated, professional team, this is the role for you.
