We are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on General Manager to lead the team and drive the continued success of this exceptional property.

About the Role:

As General Manager, you will be the driving force behind the day-to-day operations, ensuring outstanding guest experiences, commercial success, and a motivating culture for the team. This role requires a leader with a strong background in luxury hospitality, a passion for service excellence, and the ability to manage both front and back-of-house functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full operations of the hotel, including rooms, F&B, events, and wellness/spa (if applicable)

• Lead, inspire and develop department heads and their teams

• Drive guest satisfaction through exceptional standards and personalised service

• Manage budgets, forecasts, and profitability targets

• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations

• Build strong relationships with guests, the local community, and key stakeholders

About You:

• Proven experience as a General Manager in a luxury or high-end boutique hotel environment

• A confident leader with excellent people management and interpersonal skills

• Strong commercial acumen and a track record of achieving financial targets

• Passion for country house hospitality, with an eye for detail and a guest-first mindset

• Experience in managing weddings, fine dining, and leisure/spa operations is desirable
