Salary: c.£50,000-£52,000 basic + 15% performance bonus + excellent company benefitsAbout the Role
A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an accomplished Hotel Manager to lead the daily operations of a beautiful hotel just south of Gatwick. This role requires an experienced hospitality professional with proven expertise at Hotel Manager level, gained within the 3 or 4 star market.You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and profitable operation of all departments, with a particular emphasis on rooms and revenue management, while maintaining the highest standards of guest service and operational excellence. Working closely with the MD and senior leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in driving performance, developing teams, and enhancing the guest journey.
Key Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day operations across all hotel departments, ensuring consistently exceptional guest experiences.
Drive rooms and revenue performance through strategic yield management and occupancy optimisation.
Motivate, mentor, and develop departmental managers and their teams to achieve operational excellence.
Maintain full compliance with brand standards, health & safety, and financial controls.
Analyse P&L performance and support the delivery of annual business and financial objectives.
Work collaboratively with sales, marketing, and revenue teams to maximise profitability and brand reputation.
Candidate Profile
Previous Hotel Manager/General Manager experience within the 3 or 4 star UK hotel sector is essential.
Strong operational background with a rooms/revenue bias.
Demonstrable leadership, communication, and team development skills.
Excellent commercial and financial acumen, with strong understanding of budgets and KPIs.
Passion for delivering exceptional guest service and leading by example.
Solid career stability and a hands-on approach to daily operations.
