ROLE: National Business Development Manager
LOCATION: Midlands Based
SALARY: £55-65,000 per year & Bonus

We're working with a growing and ambitious hotel management company to recruit a National Business Development Manager to spearhead the acquisition of large-scale, high-value event business across an exciting portfolio of 8 hotels.
This is a senior, outward-facing role, focused on securing new national and regional event business including associations, charities, exhibitions, conferences, product launches and large social or corporate events for up to 600 guests.
Based in the Midlands, you'll operate nationally, positioning the portfolio as a go-to destination for major events and commercially significant bookings.
The Role
This is a pure business development role-hands-on, proactive, and results-driven.
You will:
* Drive new large event and group business across all 8 hotels
* Target associations, charities, exhibitions, corporates, and agencies
* Develop and execute a national outbound sales strategy
* Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers
* Identify new revenue opportunities aligned with market trends
* Work closely with hotel General Managers, Sales, and Events teams to convert opportunities
* Represent the portfolio at industry events, trade shows, and networking forums
* Use market insight and data to maximise revenue and profitability
The ideal Candidate
* Looking for a Business Development Manager with a track record of sales achievement in the hotel industry.
* Have a thorough understanding of the channels to market to create revenue opportunities and be well networked and aware of local, national and global trends in the industry.
* You will have a high degree of commercial awareness and be able to understand the links between sales and profit. You'll also have excellent communication skills and an entrepreneurial way of working to attract new clients.
* The Business Development Manager role is a full-time outbound position, so you will need to be able to drive and have access to a vehicle as well as reside locally.
