We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead the kitchen at a stunning countryside wedding and events venue. This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef who thrives in delivering high-end banqueting and bespoke wedding dining experiences. You'll take full ownership of the kitchen operation, delivering beautifully presented, seasonal menus for weddings and private events, while leading a motivated brigade in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment.

The Role

• Deliver exceptional food for bespoke wedding menus and large banquets (100+ covers)
• Work closely with the events team to ensure seamless delivery of each wedding
• Manage and develop your kitchen team, including rotas and performance
• Oversee ordering, stock control, and supplier relationships
• Maintain strict food safety, allergen compliance, and hygiene standards
• Manage food costs and labour budgets to achieve commercial targets
• Ensure consistency, presentation, and timing are flawless for every event

About You

• Proven experience as a Head Chef
• Background in wedding catering, banqueting, or high-volume events
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate under pressure
• Confident delivering for large-scale, time-sensitive services
• Passion for seasonal, high-quality food and presentation
• Strong organisational and financial awareness (GP, stock, labour control)
• Calm, professional, and detail-focused approach
