Salary: £50,000 - £55,000
JWR is delighted to be partnering with a successful branded hotel to recruit an experienced Front of House Manager for this well-established 80-bedroom, three-star hotel.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, this is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious hospitality professional to lead the hotel's Rooms Division, with responsibility for the Front Office, Reception and Housekeeping teams.
With limited food and beverage operations, this is a true rooms-focused management role, ideal for an experienced Front Office Manager, Reception Manager or Front of House Manager looking to take the next step in their career.
The Role
As Front of House Manager, you will lead the day-to-day operation of the Front Office, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while maintaining the highest operational standards across the hotel's rooms division.
You will be a visible leader, motivating your team to deliver outstanding service, driving guest satisfaction and supporting the commercial success of the hotel.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire the Front Office, Reception and Housekeeping teams.
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences from arrival through to departure.
- Ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the hotel's rooms division.
- Drive guest satisfaction, online reputation and service standards.
- Recruit, train, coach and develop team members.
- Produce rotas and manage departmental labour costs.
- Maximise room revenue through effective upselling and operational efficiency.
- Monitor departmental budgets and control costs.
- Ensure brand standards, health & safety and company procedures are consistently achieved.
- Support the General Manager with the overall operation and commercial performance of the hotel.
About You
We're looking for an engaging and hands-on hospitality professional who can confidently lead from the front.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Front of House Manager, Front Office Manager, Reception Manager or Assistant Front Office Manager within a branded hotel.
- Strong knowledge of Front Office and Rooms Division operations.
- Experience managing or working closely with Housekeeping teams.
- Excellent leadership and people development skills.
- A passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
- Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Commercial awareness with experience driving occupancy, guest satisfaction and departmental performance.
- Experience using Opera PMS or a similar hotel management system.
