An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Head Chef to join a beautiful luxury hotel in South America region, part of a well-established and respected hotel group.
We are looking for a creative culinary leader with a strong background in international cuisine who is passionate about delivering exceptional dining experiences for guests from around the world.
The Role
As Head Chef, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen operation, maintaining the highest culinary standards, and creating innovative menus that showcase a diverse range of international flavours. You will inspire and develop your team while ensuring efficient kitchen management and outstanding food quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, motivate, and develop the kitchen brigade.
- Design and deliver high-quality international menus.
- Maintain exceptional food presentation and consistency.
- Manage food costs, stock control, and kitchen budgets.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Work closely with senior management to enhance the overall guest dining experience.
- Train and mentor chefs, encouraging creativity and professional development.
About You
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Sous Chef in a quality hotel or resort.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with international cuisine.
- A natural leader with excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Passion for fresh ingredients, innovation, and exceptional guest service.
- Experience managing kitchen finances, ordering, and stock control.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment.
