We're working with a well-established corporate hotel near Salisbury to recruit an enthusiastic and hands-on Restaurant Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Assistant Restaurant Manager looking to progress into their first management role,
Offering a competitive salary of £32,000 - £34,000, a 40-hour working week, straight shifts, and paid overtime after just one additional shift, this role provides an excellent work-life balance alongside genuine career development.
The Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for leading the day-to-day operation of the hotel's restaurant, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while maintaining the highest brand standards.
Leading a team of 4 Supervisors and a wider restaurant team, you'll inspire, coach and support your colleagues to deliver outstanding service every day.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the daily operation of the restaurant, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
- Leading, motivating and developing a team of 4 Supervisors and front-of-house colleagues.
- Delivering exceptional guest experiences while maintaining brand standards.
- Supporting recruitment, training and ongoing team development.
- Managing rotas and staffing levels in line with business demands.
- Monitoring guest feedback and driving continuous improvements.
- Ensuring compliance with health & safety, food safety and company procedures.
- Working closely with the kitchen and wider hotel management team to deliver a seamless guest journey.
- Taking a proactive, hands-on approach during busy service periods.
About You
We're looking for a passionate hospitality professional who enjoys leading from the front and developing people.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Manager, or be an experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager ready to step into your first management role.
- A background within a branded hotel or restaurant environment.
- Good knowledge of brand standards and delivering consistent guest experiences.
- Experience leading and motivating teams.
- A hands-on management style with excellent organisational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional customer service.
The Package
- £32,000 - £34,000 basic salary.
