Opportunity for a first time General Manager
170 bedrooms | Full-service hotel
JWR is recruiting a General Manager for a 170-bedroom, four-star hotel in London. We would welcome applications from established Hotel General Managers and strong Hotel Managers or Deputy General Managers ready to step into their first GM role.
You will lead the hotel's day-to-day operation, taking responsibility for guest experience, team performance and commercial results. This is a hands-on leadership role covering rooms, food and beverage, financial performance and service standards.
The role
- Lead and develop the hotel's department heads and wider team
- Drive occupancy, revenue, profitability and guest satisfaction
- Manage budgets, payroll, costs and operational performance
- Maintain high standards across front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance
- Build effective relationships with owners and key stakeholders
About you
You will have senior management experience in a full-service hotel, ideally of a similar size. You may already be a General Manager, or you may be a high-performing Hotel Manager, Deputy General Manager or Operations Manager with the breadth of experience to take the next step.
You will bring strong people leadership, commercial awareness and a visible presence in the hotel. Experience managing a hotel P&L and leading multiple departments will be particularly valuable.
