Hotel General Manager
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: £60kJWR is recruiting a commercially focused General Manager to lead a full-service hotel with 80+ bedrooms and banqueting facilities for up to 250 guests.
This is an opportunity for an experienced hotel leader to drive business performance, develop a strong team and deliver excellent guest experiences across accommodation, food and beverage, weddings and events.
The role
- Take full responsibility for hotel operations, financial performance and service standards.
- Manage budgets, forecasting and costs to maximise profitability.
- Work with sales and revenue teams to grow rooms, weddings, conference and banqueting business.
- Lead, coach and develop departmental managers, building a culture of accountability and care.
- Maintain strong relationships with owners, guests and local business partners.
- Ensure health, safety and statutory compliance throughout the property.
About you
- An experienced Hotel General Manager with a background in full-service hotels.
- Strong food and beverage, wedding and banqueting experience.
- Confident managing P&L, budgets and commercial strategy.
- A visible, hands-on leader who motivates teams and maintains high standards.
