Boutique Country Hotel - Gloucestershire
JWR is currently working with an award winning, boutique country hotel looking for an experienced Hotel Manager to work with the owners and manage the day-to-day operations and support in driving their business forwards in a stunning part of Gloucestershire.
As Hotel Manager, reporting to the owners, you will work with and develop the team to provide exceptional guest service, continually exceeding the highest possible standards whilst overseeing the smooth running of the hotel's operations ensuring the hotels objectives are met and maintained at all times through maximising occupancy, revenue, and maintaining and building on the reputation of the hotel.
You will be an excellent communicator and have greatly developed organisational and communication skills, being able to thrive within a high-pressured environment.
As Hotel Manager you must be a real team player, whilst being able to adapt and take charge in a variety of situations. You will have the highest attention to detail, whilst maximising all sales opportunities for new and existing guests and training your team to deliver the same.
You will currently already be an experienced Hotel Manager or Operations Manager looking for their next step within a quality boutique/small hotel operation of at least 20+ beds with good all-round experience across all departments. As Hotel Manager you will be responsible for the direct management of all departments, including Reception, Housekeeping, F&B and FOH services.
Located within the Forrest of Dean, surrounded by acres of beautiful meadows, this stunning Boutique, Country Hotel offers approx. 20 bedrooms and serves a delicious menu, focusing on produce sourced locally within a 20-mile radius of the property to a two-rosette standard.
Required Skills:
- Previous operational experience within a similar size and standard property.
- Have good commercial knowledge and solid experience of hotel operations specifically Front of House, Food & Beverage, and Accommodation
- The highest attention to detail, leading & motivating your team to deliver exceptional standards & results meeting the hotels objectives at all times.
- Manage a team of Head of Departments to deliver consistency across the hotel, providing support, feedback and development
- Ensure the smooth day to day running of the hotel operation
- Good financial awareness with strong control of the P&L, managing costs and identifying sales opportunities.
