An outstanding opportunity to lead a successful branded hotel for an internationally recognised hotel group.
JWR is delighted to be partnering with a leading hotel operator in the search for an experienced General Manager to lead a well-established branded hotel.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute and people-focused hotel leader to take full responsibility for the overall performance of the property, delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving revenue, profitability and team engagement.
Reporting to the Regional Operations Director, you will lead the senior management team and be responsible for the strategic and operational success of the hotel.
The Role
As General Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Providing inspirational leadership across all hotel departments.
- Driving financial performance, profitability and market share.
- Delivering exceptional guest satisfaction and consistently achieving brand standards.
- Leading, mentoring and developing a high-performing management team.
- Building a positive culture focused on teamwork, accountability and service excellence.
- Managing budgets, forecasting, labour costs and overall financial performance.
- Working closely with sales and revenue teams to maximise commercial opportunities.
- Developing strong relationships with owners, stakeholders and the wider hotel group.
- Ensuring compliance with all statutory, health & safety and brand requirements.
- Identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency and guest experience.
The Ideal Candidate
We are keen to speak with experienced General Managers who can demonstrate:
- Previous General Manager experience within a recognised branded hotel environment.
- A strong commercial background with a proven track record of improving revenue, profitability and guest satisfaction.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate and develop teams.
- Strong financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting and P&L accountability.
- Experience working with recognised hotel brand standards and operating procedures.
- Outstanding stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A visible, hands-on leadership style with a genuine passion for hospitality.
- The ability to drive change, improve performance and create a culture of excellence.
