Hotel Manager - Luxury Hospitality Development

Approx. 20 minutes from Ringwood | £50,000-£55,000 + Benefits Neg

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Hotel Manager to take a leading role in the development and launch of an ambitious new 11 Bedroom Hotel.

This is a unique opportunity to join an established and growing business at an exciting stage of its development, helping to take a major project from concept and planning through to launch and successful operation.

The successful candidate will work closely with the owners and senior leadership team, taking ownership of the critical path and coordinating the many operational, commercial and development work streams required to bring the vision to life.

The project will encompass luxury accommodation, food & beverage, wine, events, wellness and guest experiences, making this a particularly varied and exciting role for someone who enjoys creating and building new hospitality operations.

The Role

As Hotel Manager, You will take responsibility for the overall project plan, ensuring that all operational and commercial requirements are delivered on time and to the required standard.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Develop and manage the overall project plan and critical path
  • Coordinate multiple work streams from development through to opening
  • Monitor progress, identify risks and implement solutions
  • Provide regular updates to owners and senior stakeholders
  • Lead pre-opening and operational readiness activity
  • Develop operational structures, procedures and service standards
  • Coordinate testing, soft openings and readiness reviews
  • Ensure all relevant legal, regulatory, health & safety and compliance requirements are met
  • Work closely with Hospitality, Operations, Finance, Commercial, Marketing and People teams
  • Manage relationships with external consultants, contractors and suppliers
  • Develop workforce plans and support the recruitment, induction and training of the opening team
  • Help establish a high-performing culture centred around exceptional hospitality
  • Support budget planning, forecasting and project expenditure
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and commercial performance
  • Continue to support the operation beyond launch as it develops into an established destination

About You

We are looking for an experienced hospitality project professional who has a proven track record of taking complex projects from an initial idea through to operational launch and delivery.

You may currently be working within luxury hotels, resorts, private member's clubs, leisure, food & beverage or another high-end hospitality environment, with strong experience of project delivery and pre-opening.

You'll bring:

  • Proven experience delivering hospitality projects from concept through to opening
  • Strong pre-opening and operational readiness experience
  • Excellent project management and critical-path planning skills
  • Strong commercial and financial understanding
  • Exceptional organisational and planning abilities
  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders and work streams
  • The confidence to work closely with owners and senior leadership
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • A proactive, resilient and solutions-focused approach
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences
  • Experience of recruitment, training and building new teams
  • Knowledge of hospitality systems and technology implementation would be advantageous

Why This Opportunity?

This isn't a role where you'll be inheriting a finished operation.

You'll have the opportunity to help build something from the ground up, shaping the operational model, recruiting the team, establishing the guest experience and ultimately helping create a destination that will have a significant presence within the regional hospitality market.

For the right person, this is an opportunity to have genuine ownership, significant visibility and a lasting impact on an exciting new luxury hospitality business.
