£30,106 per year + benefits | 4 nights on / 4 nights offWe're looking for an experienced Night Auditor or Night Manager to join an award-winning, limited-service hotel in Leicester.
This is a straightforward, hands-on night role within an established economy hotel, ideal for someone who enjoys working independently and is comfortable taking responsibility for the hotel overnight.
The Role
Working 9.30pm to 7.30am on a 4 nights on / 4 nights off rota, you'll be responsible for the smooth running of the hotel throughout the night.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing late check-ins and early check-outs
- Completing the night audit and managing the banking
- Providing a friendly and efficient service to overnight guests
- Preparing and serving snacks such as pizza during the night
- Preparing breakfast ahead of the morning team arriving
- Ensuring the breakfast area and food preparation are ready for the morning
- Supporting with basic food preparation for both cooked and continental breakfast
- Dealing with any guest requirements or issues during the night
Breakfast preparation is straightforward and includes putting items such as sausages, bacon and tomatoes in the oven, baking croissants and warming eggs and baked beans. Breakfast typically serves around 20-30 guests per day.
You'll then provide a short handover to the morning team before finishing at 7.30am.
About You
Previous experience in a Night Auditor or Night Manager role is essential, along with the confidence to work independently overnight.
You'll also need to:
- Be comfortable preparing simple breakfast items and overnight snacks
- Have good attention to detail for banking and night audit procedures
- Be confident dealing with guests throughout the night
- Have a reliable and responsible approach to working alone
- Be able to drive due to the hotel's location
- Have a good understanding of hotel systems; Opera Cloud knowledge would be an advantage
