Executive Head Chef
4 Star Hotel & Spa - Barnsley
JWR is excited to be working with one of the top Hotels in South Yorkshire looking for an experienced Executive Head Chef to join the team and redefine the food offerings across the hotel.
As Executive Chef and will work closely alongside the general manager to identify areas that can be worked on and improved to uphold the Hotel as one of the leading destination in South Yorkshire, with a strong focus on high quality classic British cooking using the best produce in the region.
This a fantastic opportunity for an accomplished Executive Head Chef to be part of something special and, alongside a wealth of experience, build to achieve a sustainable future for the Hotel and also future properties withing the management group.
The successful candidate will be based out of the flagship hotel in Barnsley, with the potential for this position to grow into a Group Executive Chef role as the portfolio grows. Please note this role will be very hands on in the kitchen and not an office-based position.
Required Skills:
- Experience as a Head Chef / Executive Head Chef in a similar role
- Minimise wastage and encourage creative thinking
- Adhere to food safety legislation
- Ensure good kitchen planning to enable a trouble-free service and customer satisfaction
- Help to promote and maintain a good working environment, leading by example and develop the team around you
- Be a problem solver, ready to come up with on-the-spot solutions
- Hands on, passionate, Energetic Self-motivated individual
- Manage ordering and controlling of stock
- Passionate about food, standards & results
- Maintain company GP %
Salary:
