Independent Spanish inspired Restaurant - Cambridge
JWR is currently working with a fresh food restaurant in Cambridge serving high quality traditional Spanish dishes utilising the best local produce, looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join their team.
As the Sous Chef you will work closely with the Head Chef creating well balanced, clean, flavour packed dishes bringing the taste of Spain to the heart of Cambridge.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Sous Chef to join an already highly successful company, working in a fun and friendly environment, while working with some of the best produce in the area.
Required Skills:
- Minimise wastage and encourage creative thinking
- Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef within a similar establishment
- Adhere to all company and government food safety legislation
- Ensure good kitchen planning to enable a trouble-free service and customer satisfaction
- Help to promote and maintain a good working environment, leading by example and develop the team around you
- Hands on, passionate, Energetic Self-motivated individual
- Proven track record in delivering high quality dishes in a time pressured environment
- Passionate about food, standards & results
- Creative and up to date with new food trends and concepts
Salary:
