IT Procurement Supervisor Needed for an Exclusive 5* Hotel, Mayfair, Up To £35,000 + Benefits, Mon - Fri

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced IT Procurement Supervisor to join an exclusive 5* hotel in the heart of fashionable Mayfair. The client is proud of their strong customer relationships and friendly atmosphere and are looking for an experienced IT Procurement Supervisor who can meet the demands of the contract/vendor management for the property and liaising with their International partners. Due to the demand to servicing their discerning clients, they are looking for like minded individuals who have worked in similar role within IT procurement to join their team on a permanent basis.

Job Description

As a IT Procurement Supervisor you will be responsible for:

  • Helping assist in the field IT field based services both in the UK & abroad
  • Working closely with the procurement team
  • Creates and maintains vendor management
  • Conducting end of day reports
  • Working with desktop engineering to ensure the latest improvement technology is up to date and making use of bid pricing
  • Follow company and department procedures
  • Working with the server & network teams
  • Having good admin skills
  • Developing procurement policies
  • Identifying problems and reacting to resolve the issues

The Ideal candidate will be:

  • Experienced in a similar IT procurement role
  • Be able to work within a small team and individually
  • Strong knowledge of hardware/software procurement and support contracts.
  • Be able to work in a high demanding environment
  • Have good telephone manners
  • Must have experience in the latest technology world
  • Experienced in managing outsourced vendors
  • Being able to act upon different situations in a precise and professional manner
  • Able to follow clear instructions
  • Understand invoice and purchasing orders
  • Used to dealing with reports
  • Being proactive and being able to think on their feet
  • Strong MS Office Suite application Skills (i.e., Excel, Visio, Word)

The ideal candidate will have great organisational skills along with the passion and commitment in driving excellent service to the clientele and a proven track record as an IT Procurement Supervisor preferably from a hospitality background.
