General Manager - Hertfordshire Country House Hotel
The property:
Set in landscaped grounds with stunning views, this stunning converted manor house offering elegantly appointed rooms, stunning contemporary food and a great business mix of both business and leisure with a strong weddings trade, leisure breaks and corporate offerings through the week.
The Role:
General Manager that can lead from the front, further capitalising on its strong reputation in the market and seizing the opportunity to drive the food and service offering forwards through effective leadership, strong commercial and financial acumen and a passion for the guest journey.
Experience required as Hotel General Manager:
Already a General Manager within the 4 star country house hotel sector in the UK
able to travel to or relocate to the Watford area of Hertfordshire
Previous experience of running c40-80 bedroom 4 star full service hotels
able to drive revenue, maximising on opportunities presented
Mentor and motivate your team, able to inspire and motivate your staff in challenging circumstances
Recruit, retain and develop exceptional talent utilising your skills and experiences gained as General Manager within the 4 star country house sector, knowing what excellence means and how to recruit and retain it
Be able t evidence a strong commercial and financial acumen to the directors, showcasing your ability to maximise revenue for your property, not only via innovative ideas but also getting the foundations right
Personable and engaging with a strong sense of standards.
The Package:
Basic to £60,000
10% salary Bonus
